Info Card

-Do not drink any coffee or alcohol 48 hours prior to your appointment

- We require our clients to avoid any blood thinning medications 48 hours prior to their appointment. This includes vitamin E, niacin, fish oil supplements and Ibuprofen.

-If you have been on Accutane you MUST wait 1 YEAR before considering procedure.

-Your brows will appear darker and more intense than expected the first week or so and will gradually lighten during the healing process.

-It is highly recommended that you avoid the SUN and TANNING 30 days prior and after your appointment. If you show up for your appointment with a new tan or sunburn you will need to reschedule your appointment and forfeit your deposit. As your skin exfoliates from your tan your pigment will go with it.

-If you're planning a vacation it is recommended to plan for 30 days after your procedure.

-No Botox 30 days before and after treatment

-We recommend showering and washing your hair prior to your appointment on the day of your procedure as brows must remain dry for 10 days after.

Does it hurt?

Discomfort is relative as everyone has different levels of sensitivity. We use the most highly rated numbing cream and every effort is made to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Most clients are pleased to find that it is no more painful than tweezing or waxing and pre care instructions are designed to limit skin sensitivities and bleeding. Having the service done during your menstrual cycle may increase sensitivity.

Can I have this done while pregnant or nursing?

As a precaution we do not perform this service on pregnant or nursing women.

How long is the healing process?

It is normal to have some redness and swelling immediately after the procedure. This will usually subside after a few hours. The first week the pigment will appear much darker and more dramatic. Around week two the skin will naturally exfoliate and shed. Weeks 4-8 skin will completely heal, and pigment will become more visible. A touch up session is then required to achieve color density and richness.

What factors will affect microblading?

-Sun exposure will greatly soften the look of your tattoo and sunscreen should be used once brows have healed to prolong results.

-Pigment choice: Some colors may fade more quickly than others. For example blonde pigments may fade more quickly than dark brown pigments.

-Bleeding during the procedure: This will reduce the amount of pigment absorbed. Certain medications, caffeine and alcohol can act as blood thinners and should be avoided 48 hours prior to appointment.

Will microblading work well for me?

If you have extremely oily or porous skin microblading may NOT work well for you. Constant oil production can blur your strokes and give you a more diffused look instead of a crisp hair stroke appearance.
